Disney’s 2024 Live-Action ‘Lilo & Stitch’ Movie Release Date Reportedly Revealed

There’s not been much official news on the release date for the upcoming live-action remake of the classic animated 2002 Disney movie Lilo & Stitch.

However, according to a new report online, the Sydney Agudong and Maia Kealoha-led remake’s release date for Disney+ has been revealed – see below.

Lilo & Stitch 2024 Remake Release Date Report

Although news on the remake has been dry these past few months, an inside tipster known as Daniel RPK claims that the movie is set to release on Disney’s streaming platform Disney+ next Summer.

According to the tipster, via posts of the news shared to social media, Lilo & Stitch’s live-action remake is dropping sometime in June of 2024.

This is the first major news update on the movie, despite it not being confirmed by the studio as of writing, since earlier this year when a live-action Stitch was spotted on set.

Actor Kahiau Machado also stirred up a fair amount of talk about the movie after he was replaced by actor Kaipo Dudoit, who will be starring in the live-action version of David.

Live-Action 2024 Lilo & Stitch Cast

Starring in the movie includes the aforementioned newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Sydney Agudong as Lilo’s sister Nani, and Chris Saunders who returns as the voice of Stitch.

Saunders has voiced the character since its 2002 debut in Lilo & Stitch.

Tia Carrere, who originally voiced Nani, has also been cast as new character Mrs. Kekoa.

Actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis as Jumba.

Lilo & Stitch is one of Disney’s most beloved animated franchises to come out of the 21st century, making it one of the more anticipated Disney+ titles dropping in 2024.

Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch is reportedly set to release on Disney+ in June of 2024.
