Ranakpur Jain Temple in Rajasthan, India
Ranakpur Jain Temple features the Māru-Gurjara architecture style. This style of temple architecture originated in Gujarat and Rajasthan from the 11th to 13th centuries. Interiors of this style are mostly decorated with elaborate carvings such as “flying” arch-like structures between pillars. The low domes of Jain temples also have carvings with a very intricate rosette design.

Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain
Alhambra Palace is one of the most famous examples of Islamic architecture as well as one of the best-preserved historical Islamic palaces. Its construction begun in 1238 under the rule of Muhammad I Ibn al-Ahmar, the founder of the Emirate of Granada which was the last Muslim state of Al-Andalus. In addition to the Islamic decorations, Alhambra Palace also contains notable elements of Spanish Renaissance architecture.
