Bait Dog Always Carries His Security Blanket Everywhere Ever Since Being Rescued From A Fighting Ring

Dogs are meant to be loved, not “used”.

Dogs are the sweetest cuties in the world. They literally require only one thing to turn our lives around forever and for the good. And that one thing is love. Dogs are in dire need of love, affection, and trust. And that is enough for them to even give their lives in the name of people who they love. Dogs are very innocent and aren’t really that demanding if we compare them to other pets like cats. Chuck them a treat and they will always accept it but you won’t ever see them asking for 10 more. This shows their gratefulness and gratitude towards their owners for giving them an amazing life. That’s what we dog lovers absolutely cherish about dogs. Yet some people don’t understand the true worth and value of these animals and treat them in the absolute worst way.

There are many out there who “use” dogs for their good. Dog fight clubs often have bait dogs that are used as a tester for another dog to test its fighting skills on. The bait dog basically is considered a lifeless dummy on which other dogs attack, polish their skills, and beat up often to death. This is so unfortunate. No dog deserves to be bait. They are so precious and literally do everything in their power to bring happiness, joy, entertainment, and bliss to our lives. And humans are doing no good to them.

Today’s story is about a pitbull named Bubby who was being used as a bait dog.

Bubby was in terrible condition when he was rescued from the dog fighting ring. He had very little life left in him, a punctured body, and wounds everywhere.

Bubby had totally forgotten how to be a dog as the physical and emotional trauma had completely taken over him. He was infected with god knows what diseases from head to paw and was extremely scared to approach anyone. Bubby’s condition was so bad that the rescuers eventually put him on a euthanization list. Euthanization is the process of putting a hopeless living being out of its misery. Their underlying thought is that death would bring them more peace than life.

Bubby was saved from euthanization at the very last moment but the person who saved him was no good. His troubles increased as the cute pup had to spend his next months locked up in a garage. The hopes just kept dropping down and down for Bubby the Pitbull.

At last, his time came. Bubby’s story came to notice of a woman who began searching for him, found the dog, and adopted him right away.

Bubby hadn’t really felt such a feeling before. He had all those emotions packed in but none of them were ever utilized until now. He received unlimited love from his new owner, something Bubby wasn’t used to, and things felt really confusing to him at first. She was really slow and gradual with the process and Bubby was given all the time and space in the world to overcome his past, get through the phase of shyness and convert it into solid confidence. And the rest was done by the all-powerful, love. Within months, Bubby transformed into a completely different dog. He showed amazing signs of both physical and mental recovery and formed an inseparable bond with the woman who saved her and gave her a chance to restart his life.

The next step was to crate train him so every time his owner would be, Bubby would feel safe and secure and would be able to spend time on his own. During this process of crate training, Bubby developed a strong love for blankets. He felt extremely comfortable in blankets.

Bubby considered it as his security blanket. As long as the blanket was around, he would feel secure and consider everything to be alright. He literally carries it everywhere.

This devotion to the blanket slowly got Bubby interested in toys, pillows, and more. This stuff made make him feel he is exactly where he was supposed to be and the wounds of his past just kept fading away and away. The security blanket really did play a crucial role in this.

The family soon adopted another rescue pitbull named Simon. The idea was to keep Bubby company and have him feel even more happy emotions.

Bubby and Simon love each other and love being around each other.

Bubby’s owners thought now that Simon has entered his life, he would slowly drop his whole obsession with the blanket but some habits never change. Bubby’s love for his security blanket has been increasing exponentially and now the family thinks that his little brother Simon may also start roaming around the house with a blanket of his own soon.

Bubby you deserve all our respect for surviving through that devestating past. You are a true hero. The past is now gone and is only there to be reflected upon. We wish you an amazing future, good boy.
