“Exclusive”: Meghan Markle’s Transition Beyond the Royals – She Wants No Part in It

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, has moved on from the royal family, but Prince Harry still has things he wants to deal with, according to author Omid Scobie. Scobie, who has been covering the royals for over ten years, says that Meghan doesn’t want anything to do with the issues, but Harry is different. He still has problems with the media and needs to find a way to balance that out.

Despite moving on, Meghan and Harry still communicate with Prince Charles. Harry accepts his father for who he is, and there’s an effort to keep a connection. Meghan even sends photos of their children to Charles.

In May, Harry attended the coronation of his father, but he wasn’t invited to join the family on the palace balcony. Meghan and their kids stayed home.

Scobie’s book, Endgame, talks about the breakdown of the royal family and the challenges the modern monarchy faces. According to Scobie, Prince William sees Harry as a distant figure, and what’s important to him has changed over the years.

The royal family, usually not known for expressing feelings, is facing internal issues that they may be ignoring. Scobie suggests that they should pay attention because part of the public’s support comes from the belief that the royal family is like a national family.

However, Scobie notes that William seems to prioritize loyalty to the monarchy and may be cooperating with the press to undermine Harry. Despite Harry’s memoir revealing the rift in the family, nothing seems to have changed, and the relationship between William and Harry has turned into indifference. Harry’s memoir was his way of expressing how he’s felt for a long time, as there hasn’t been an open forum for these conversations within the family.
