Firefighters Paul Hulling and Tim Young desired to take a break and have a meal following their efforts in extinguishing a fierce fire at a warehouse in North Brunswick, New Jersey, for about 12 hours. They visited Route 130 Diner. They discussed their day at that place, and Liz Woodward, the server who attended to them, overheard their conversation.

The firemen were touched by this considerate act. Hulling was overwhelmed with feelings and started to shed tears. Liz’s action showed that someone valued their job, which meant a great deal to them.
They showed their gratitude, but it wasn’t the only item they had to give. However, Young also posted the message on Facebook and urged his friends to visit Route 130 Diner if they had the opportunity, and to generously compensate Liz if she happens to be their server.
