A 9-year-old girl is prompted by God to peer over some bushes, and what she finds there saves a life.

A newborn infant, still connected to the placenta and umbilical cord, was left in someone’s yard. The newborn, who was exposed to the sun, was in danger of dying if a 9-year-old girl dressed as an angel hadn’t just so happened to come across her.

Elysa, a 9-year-old Indiana girl playing outside, heard strange noises. She thought one of the pigs had escaped, so she went to look into it. She made cautious movements while paying attention to the small pink legs.

When Elysa saw the “strange” beast, she screamed and went home to inform her mother. She said, “I didn’t know what it was, but it truly scared me.

The mother, Heidi Laub, went to investigate and found a newborn next to one of the bushes.

I shouted, “What!” as soon as she exclaimed, “Oh my God, it’s a baby.” Elysia recalled a specific detail.

Elysia said, “I just saw pink legs kicking away.” When we realized what we were doing, I could see it was alive. I had no reason to be unsure of my own skills. I understood we require help.

Fortunately, the youngster was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital, where doctors found that he was well. They claimed that the infant was just one day old.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Elysa is the child’s guardian angel.

Elysa said, “God gave me everything I needed.

If I hadn’t been there and God hadn’t told my brain to urge me to go there, we would have discovered a dead newborn in the yard this afternoon, the gorgeous girl stated. It would be far worse and considerably different.

Due to Elysa, the newborn had a second shot at life.
