While a dying old women was making her last wish, her nurse took out of his pocket something that shocked everyone

Life goes by really fast, and I’m not afraid neither of aging nor of death, since I think it’s a normal and interesting process.

But, what I am afraid of, is being old, and not being able to take care of myself, to depend on someone else, or to forget everything, even my children’s name. I don’t like that part of live.

Maria spent her final days in a care facility, not by her family, fully aware that her life was coming to a close.

Maria missed being surrounded by music because she had spent her entire life teaching piano and singing. However, she was fortunate in that one of her former pupils worked at her care facility in Austinburg, Ohio.

Naturally, Joshua was delighted to grant Maria’s last wish. He belted out Maria’s favourite song while looking up the words on his phone. And what makes it even better is that it turns out Joshua has known Mary since he was only 9 years old.

They were familiar with one another because she had been Joshua Woodard’s teacher since he was 9 years old. The hymn “How great thou art” was the thing Maria most wanted to hear before she passed away.

“Hospice workers are angels but this hospice aide is special,” said Marti Adkins Redmond.

“Mary taught voice and piano in her day and this aide Joshua Woodard was one of her students as a kid. Special people hospice workers are!

Maria’s sister-in-law managed to capture the emotional moment on film.

Sadly Maria is no longer with us, which makes this whole clip even more moving.

Make sure you share this beautiful clip with all your friends on Facebook to honor all the staff working tirelessly to take care of our elderly loved ones
