Bride Gets The Ugliest RSVP And The Internet Is Furious

Many ambitions were dashed by the COVID-19 epidemic. Some had to postpone long-awaited plans for weeks, months, even years. Travel funds were often used for survival.

The pair also postponed their wedding. Pandemic limits forced one bride to cut several visitors from her wedding guest list. She could only invite important people. However, her aunt’s wedding RSVP made her feel worse. She posted an RSVP photo on Reddit, which went viral.

The bride was very disappointed when her aunt Edith submitted the wedding RSVP. Due to COVID-19 constraints, the bride had to be selective about her wedding guests, reports say. Her wedding was planned for 2020.

If you recall, there was a lot of anxiety at the time. She invited 50 persons max. Typical wedding numbers have dropped significantly. Aunt Edith was surprised the invitation didn’t include Danny, her lover.

Due to her fury at being excluded, she returned the bride’s wedding RSVP. It was full of harsh remarks. The bride posted the RSVP on Reddit. It instantly went viral, mocking Aunt Edith’s petty attitude.

Bridal maid of honor responded on wedding RSVP and defended her pal. It was just two years since Aunt Edith and Danny started dating, she said. She said Danny was “unpleasant,” too.

Art3miss_Gunter wrote, “OP’s maid of honor here.” To clarify, covid limits indoor meetings in our area to 50. Aunt Edith, OP’s fiance’s aunt, has dated Danny for two years.

They rarely see Danny, who hasn’t changed their lives.Danny is horrible and hardly bearable. Not an uncle to them. COVID limits had decreased guest numbers, therefore guests were informed before invitation.

One person commented on the bride’s wedding RSVP page with a similar experience: They wrote, “How dramatic!” Since I told my cousin he couldn’t bring his girlfriend, whom I’d never met, to my home wedding, he hasn’t spoken to me. My aunt (his mother) ignores me even while I’m nearby.”

Another replied, “This is just a win-win. I always disliked having to invite relatives. Fuck that noise. Wedding day is about celebrating. I chose not to invite my racist relative to my wedding and haven’t spoken to them in years. Better wedding gift than a real one! Only invite those you think will make the party more fun. It makes it less formal.”

A second commenter on the wedding RSVP said, “Good riddance. It’s easier said than done, but you don’t want that energy on your special day.” The fourth individual commented, “Oh my…looks like a bullet dodged for you guys.”
